Katherine Jean Bolduan known by the name Kate Bolduan in her profession is a journalist with American heritage. Best known for anchoring the CNN morning program At This Hour, Bolduan is an American journalist on the broadcast. Then, she was the co-anchor on CNN's morning show New Day as well as The Situation Room. Bolduan was a part of CNN's award winning coverage of the presidential elections in 2012 and 2016. Bolduan worked as a Washington DC-based congressional correspondent covering activities in and around the US House of Representatives and Senate. Bolduan was a reporter for legislative and congressional activities, like the negotiations for raising the ceiling on federal debt as well as super committee meetings. She also worked as a general-assignment correspondent and covered such topics as the Christmas Day terrorist attack of 2009, the Supreme Court's decision on Obamacare in addition to the implementation in 2009 of the stimulus program.
