Ellie Goulding
Ellie's (n e Elena Jane Goulding 30 December, 1986 Hereford England) was an English Songwriter and Singer. Ellie Goulding's enthralling electronic style quickly propelled her to the top of the charts when she drew the attention of the general public in the year 2010. The singer-songwriter was able to achieve this feat with her songs "Starry Eyed", and "Guns and Horses". Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding is a standout contemporary artist due to her soprano voice, and her talent in writing songs that are both captivating and empathetic. Her style is similar in many ways to Kate Bush, Imogen Heap as well as other artists with similar styles. Polydor Records, a major music label, chose to sign her and started preparing to release Goulding's debut album.
